At Be Discovered, we care about your Privacy.
All your personal data will be strictly kept confidential and at no time Be Discovered will share your information with anyone*.
Be Discovered reserves the right to suspend or cancel your account if at anytime we feel like your privacy, or the privacy of others is in jeopardy.
At Be Discovered we do not collect any information other than the information needed to create an account and we will never ask about your gender or sexual orientation.
Be Discovered is here to help you make new friends and Be Discovered is not responsible at anytime for the information you share during the chat between you and other users.
To create your Profile, we will ask you to provide us your email address and phone number for security reason. To be able to be discovered by others a picture where your face is visible is required. Be Discovered will ask you to allow access to your camera or gallery as well as other permissions to allow the app to function properly.
While creating your account you can decide to use your email or connect through social media (Facebook).
Once a Profile has been created users can also add more information such as Bio and have the option to upload statuses during the day. Name, Bio and Status will only be visible for 24 hours by the users you decide to connect with and vice versa.
The info uploaded on your profile will also be shared only with other users you connect with during the day, and at all time users can decide to block other users. Once a user is blocked you will no longer be able to see it even if the same area and Be Discovered is not responsible for any missed connections.
Your chat will disappear automatically after 24 hours but don’t worry, if users happen to be in the same location they might be able to reconnect unless a user has been blocked.
To be able to be discovered we will ask users to turn on location while using the app or users will not be visible by other users in the area. If user doesn’t allow this permission the app will not function and Be Discovered is not responsible for any inconvenience this may cause.
If you decide to contact us, the information shared and collected during the conversation will be kept confidential.
As part of our security features, we may allow third parties to inform us if any profile created belongs to fake user or so-called actors to ensure that the privacy and safety of our users is always guaranteed.
Be Discovered may use your information also to improve our services and for your security and, we may share advertising that we believe might interest you.
Any user can decide to delete an account at anytime if they feel their privacy has been compromised or violated or create a new account to have a fresh start. For this reason, account owners have access to their profile info and able to correct or change any info at any time as well as review app permissions, uninstall the app or delete the account.
Please note that Be Discovered reserves the right to refuse to create an account if we feel like the information submitted are considered in violation with our terms and condition or considered fake or if they may violate the sensitivity of other users or if we are not able to verify the authenticity of the information provided, if they are considered invalid or against the law and if they infringe the privacy, intellectual property of others.
To protect children, users must be 14 year of age or older to use Be Discovered.
To use Be Discovered you must agree to our terms and conditions as well as read our privacy notice.
No objectionable content or abusive users will be tolerated on Be Discovered.
